Computer-Generated Images

Hundreds of Kilometers of Tracks on the Simulator

Early on, CORYS T.E.S.S. chose computer-generated images to reconstitute the environment in which drivers operate. Over the last few years, the quality and realism of these images have greatly improved.

The student familiarizes him/herself with the specificities of his/her line on his/her simulator: cities, landscapes, urban traffic, signal locations, dazzle areas, changes in visibility due to rain, snow or fog...The instructor can add unusual events, such as the sudden appearance of an obstacle, in real time.

In addition, a line creator publisher can be supplied to the customer who can then extend his/her database independently or complete the necessary updates (for example, signal modifications).

Moreover, CORYS T.E.S.S. automatically manages the computer generated images from the track data supplied by the railway operator, from a geographic information system or GPS data. This procedure optimizes database production costs and the creation of networks several thousand kilometres long.

Track Automatic Generation Tools can also be supplied to the customer, as was the case for the American freight operators who have as a result managed over 50,000 km of computer-generated images to date.
